Qualitative approach reduces 95%+ your energy bill and improves your visual experience

A 1.2 Watt LED Lamp generates enough light to replace a 5 Watt CFL bulb (75% reduction) thanks to its better quality light. In fact, CFL bulbs (fluorescent) oscillate 50 times per second. You don’t notice it, but your brain does. Oscillatory nature induces early fatigue and also stress and sleeping disorders.

Work lighting standards have been created long time ago, based on fluorescent/incandescent technologies. Thus, they require to have huge amounts of light (LUX, Lumens) to induce wakefulness at work settings. On the contrary, LED-generated light has a non oscillating nature: it won’t produce fatigue nor stress, and less light would be required to allow us to have a comfortable visual experience.

Unfortunately, lighting firms plotted advertising profusely CFL bulbs for their energy saving crusade as it is more profitable (more expensive than incandescent and less durable than LED). In fact, the world-wide energy saving “CFL bulb Marketing campaign” doesn’t acknowledge that CFL bulbs produce harmful electromagnetic and toxic chemical emissions, and that also they liberate mercury to the environment.

If you choose to ignore quality of light factor, you would have to use a 4 Watts LED lamp (360 Lumen) to generate the same amount of light than a 5 Watts CFL (350 Lumen) in order to comply with old and outdated norms. That would reduce only 20% your energy consumption, which would make LED technology not attractive to miss-informed consumers.

NOT CONVINCED YET?: Acquire a 1.5 Watts warm white led lamp and compare it with a 5 Watts CFL bulb and a 25 Watts incandescent lamp, during your reading experience. I can promise: You will be surprised!
